Hankook Tire's Ventus evo Achieves Top Ratings in European UHP Tire Test

Hankook Tire Japan is pleased to announce that its ultra-high-performance (UHP) tire, "Ventus evo (ventus evo)," has earned high marks in comparative tests conducted by leading European automotive magazines.
In Europe, an advanced automotive market, excellent results were confirmed in handling, braking, and grip on both dry and wet road conditions, underscoring the product's superior overall performance.

## ■ Achieved Overall 1st Place in Major European Media Tests
In a tire comparison test conducted by the prominent German automotive magazine "Auto Bild," the "Ventus evo" recorded an overall 1st place (Test Winner).
In this test, tires from approximately 50 brands, including major global tire manufacturers (Size: 245/45R19), were fitted to a BMW 5 Series and comprehensively evaluated based on multiple criteria on dry and wet surfaces.
The results showed that "Ventus evo" demonstrated excellent handling performance, especially on wet surfaces, and stable maneuverability on dry surfaces.
Furthermore, it recorded short braking distances for braking performance, which is directly linked to safety, and its high overall performance was recognized.

## ■ Demonstrated Overwhelming Performance in SUV Tire Tests as Well
In addition, in a comparative test conducted by "Auto Bild Allrad," the SUV specialist magazine of "Auto Bild," the "Ventus evo" also achieved an overall 1st place.
This test evaluated 9 products in size 255/45R19 in both on-road and off-road environments, assessing their performance under various road conditions.
On wet surfaces, it received high marks for both handling and braking performance, and stable braking performance was confirmed on dry surfaces.
Furthermore, its traction performance was evaluated in environments such as wet grass and gravel roads, demonstrating its adaptability to a wide range of driving conditions.
Both magazines concluded in their overall assessment: "Ventus evo is a tire with balanced handling performance, braking power, and grip performance on both dry and wet surfaces."
