Hankook Tire Japan Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that its Ultra-High-Performance (UHP) tire, "Ventus evo," has received high praise in a comparison test conducted by a leading European automotive magazine.
In Europe, an advanced automotive market, the product demonstrated excellent results in handling performance, braking performance, and grip on both dry and wet road surfaces, leading to an evaluation that recognized its high comprehensive performance.
■ Won 1st Place Overall in Major European Media Test In a tire comparison test conducted by the leading German automotive magazine **"Auto Bild"**, **"Ventus evo" recorded 1st place overall (Test Winner)**.
In this test, tires from approximately 50 brands (size: 245/45R19), including major global tire manufacturers, were fitted to a BMW 5 Series and comprehensively evaluated based on multiple criteria on dry and wet road surfaces.
As a result, "Ventus evo" showed **particularly excellent results in handling performance on wet roads**, and its stable maneuverability on dry roads was also praised. Furthermore, it recorded short braking distances in braking performance, which is directly linked to safety, leading to high marks for its overall high performance.
■ Demonstrated Overwhelming Performance in SUV Test as Well Additionally, in a comparison test by **"Auto Bild Allrad," the SUV specialty magazine of "Auto Bild," "Ventus evo" also secured 1st place overall**.
In this test, 9 products in the 255/45R19 size were evaluated in on-road and off-road environments to verify their performance under various road conditions.
On wet roads, it received high ratings in both handling and braking performance.
