★ History of the "Panda Car®"

The Panda Car (Melody Pet) first appeared in 1984. It is a panda-shaped ride developed by Togo Inc., an attraction manufacturer that operated Hanayashiki until 2004 (now defunct). By inserting two 100-yen coins (200 yen), it slowly moves through the park at approximately 13 meters per minute, playing an electronic melody.

In 2006, Hanayashiki Co., Ltd. registered the trademark for "Panda Car."

The prototype, which was the first Panda Car, is still located inside Hanayashiki, awaiting visitors.
