Starting May 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM, 'Manga-Lab!', the all-genre manga submission site operated by Hakusensha, will host the 'Melo Danshi (Meltingly Handsome Men) Contest'.
The term 'Melo-i' has become a buzzword among fans to describe men they find irresistible. The contest invites manga and illustration submissions featuring these 'irresistible handsome men.'
The main visual is provided by the popular illustrator NLLE, known for captivating works featuring such characters. Furthermore, the grand prize-winning work will be adapted into a voice-over performance by renowned voice actor Toshiki Masuda.
[Submission Overview]
- Theme: Melo Danshi (Irresistible Men)! Any genre is welcome as long as an irresistible handsome man is featured.
- Format: Manga 4+ pages, or illustration with dialogue 1+ page. For illustrations, please submit in a format including speech bubbles and dialogue.
- Multiple entries and storyboards are accepted.
