The popular manga 'Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen' by Hiroshi Shiibashi, currently serialized in 'Ultra Jump,' is officially getting a TV anime adaptation. It has been announced that THE JET BOY BANGERZ will perform the opening theme, and WOLF HOWL HARMONY will perform the ending theme. Additionally, new character and cast information has been revealed, along with the premiere date of Saturday, July 4th. The story is set in 1910s Japan. Kodo Iwamoto, a student at the Army-affiliated Seiho Middle School, is tasked by the military to investigate paranormal phenomena occurring across the country and recommend individuals with supernatural abilities for military use. The series depicts the human drama between Iwamoto, who seeks to save these individuals, and the various ability users he encounters. Broadcasts will begin on TOKYO MX every Saturday at 22:30 and on Sun TV every Saturday at 23:00 starting July 4th. Furthermore, Gen Sato has been cast as Ryu U Sasame, and Shinnosuke Tokudome as Mizuhi Awadama, with both providing comments on their roles. The animation is produced by Studio Deen.
