HAI ROBOTICS JAPAN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Iruma-gun, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Toshio Suzue; hereinafter "HRJ"), a provider of warehouse automation solutions using logistics robots, has announced the latest update to its robot solution "HaiPick Climb," which maximizes the value of warehouse space. This update further improves storage efficiency and processing capacity, enabling its use in a wide range of sites, including not only logistics warehouses but also for parts storage in manufacturing industries and material supply to production lines.

Double-deep storage function added to HaiPick Climb

HaiPick Climb, with its agile robots and advanced system control, can transport totes to picking stations within a minimum of 2 minutes, achieving a maximum transport processing capacity of 4,000 movements per hour. Since inventory totes and order totes are transported directly to the operator's hand, operators can perform side-by-side picking without walking or additional tasks, realizing stable shipping processing and high work efficiency.

This update newly supports a double-deep storage configuration. Combined with a compact system design, it achieves high-density storage of up to 45,000 totes per 1,000㎡, significantly improving the utilization efficiency of limited warehouse space and in-factory storage areas. This makes it possible to expand storage capacity without expanding facilities in logistics and manufacturing sites facing an increase in SKU numbers and diversification into small-lot production.

Automatic tray transport

Furthermore, HaiPick Climb adopts a flexible design that can directly process cardboard boxes and single items in their original packaging, reducing the decanting (transfer) work required in conventional automated warehouses. By utilizing the automatic tray/detray function, it supports not only picking operations in logistics warehouses but also automation of inter-process logistics and material supply in manufacturing industries, while maintaining efficient Goods-to-Person operations.

HRJ will exhibit the evolved HaiPick Climb at the Kansai Logistics Expo 2026. At the venue, in collaboration with Yamazen Corporation, a leading trading company for manufacturing, an automation demonstration combining HaiPick Climb and TECHMAN's handling robots will be conducted. Visitors can experience the automation of inbound and outbound operations in warehouse operations, reproducing a series of processes from retrieval from the robot warehouse to picking and storage.

In addition, the AGV/AMR "K1200" transport robot with a maximum payload of 1,200kg will also be exhibited as a reference. The K1200 will promote automation in logistics and manufacturing sites.
