Japan's Largest Cosplay Event "acosta!" to Debut on July 18th at Ariake TFT Building

Hacosta Co., Ltd., which operates cosplay events nationwide in Japan, will hold the "acosta!" cosplay event for the first time from 11:00 on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the "TFT Building" and surrounding areas in Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo. "acosta!" is Japan's largest cosplay event, attracting over 300,000 attendees annually, held nationwide primarily in Ikebukuro, where participants can take photos and enjoy themselves. The inaugural "acosta!TFT Building" event will be set in the vast Ariake area, allowing visitors to simultaneously enjoy the urban cityscape and the open feeling of the waterfront. In addition to the TFT Building, the event will utilize two parks, "Mizu no Hiroba Park" and "Tokyo Rinkai Disaster Prevention Park," enabling photography against the backdrop of the sea, lush trees, and a vast sky and lawn that hardly feel like a city center. Furthermore, popular kitchen cars familiar from "acosta!" in Ikebukuro will also be present at the venue, allowing attendees to enjoy gourmet food between photo sessions.
