The rainy season, in particular, is a time when "autonomic nerves" are greatly affected by changes in barometric pressure, humidity, and lack of sunlight, making it easy to feel "discomfort that is difficult to recognize as physical illness," such as fatigue and swelling, or a decrease in motivation. Let's use Me Time's stretching and meditation to approach these disrupted autonomic nerves and care for your body so you can overcome seasonal changes. This is a small-group class tailored to beginners, so even those with stiff bodies or who are new to meditation can participate with peace of mind.

Let's cultivate a self-care habit and regain a "you" who can spend every day comfortably and calmly. Reservations for July are currently being accepted. We look forward to your reservations and visits.

I first encountered meditation when I was 16 years old and competing as a rhythmic gymnast. I was guided by the mental trainer who worked with the Japanese national team at the time. At first, I was confused, not understanding what I was doing or why. However, as I continued day by day, I felt my mind and body, exhausted from academics and practice, begin to relax, and a positive feeling of "Alright!! Let's give it another go today!!" welled up within me. My mind also became organized, allowing me to concentrate on "what needs to be done now" without being swayed by emotions. Because of this, I was a very mistake-free athlete at the time, and I pride myself on achieving satisfactory academic results as well. It was around this time that I experienced the "zone," the strongest state in sports. Even after retiring from active competition, I continued to practice meditation sporadically, but not as diligently as back then. Looking back now, I realize I neglected meditation and stretching (exercise) most when I was experiencing mental and physical discomfort. I went through a cycle of poor sleep → overeating → breakdown of physique and mental state → recovery through meditation and exercise. In my 40s, as I reflected deeply on my life, I remembered that I liked the mental state I had at ages 16-18. Wanting to return to that state, I studied Zen teachings, mindfulness, yoga, and more from various angles. Through consistent practice, I felt my mind and body become lighter, and my life became much easier than before. Above all, I love the clear time I experience during meditation. Meditation is a profound world, and while I still have much to learn, I would be delighted to share such wonderful changes and comfortable times with all of you. Please give yourself, who works hard every day, the gift of reward time (Me Time).
