Half a Century with Okinawa Tourism: Nanto Group Anniversary Promotion "Go! Go! Nanto!" Kicks Off with First Workshop for Local Children to Envision the Future

Nanto Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture), which has been involved in Okinawa tourism and promoting the region's charm for half a century, will celebrate its 55th anniversary in 2026. Additionally, its affiliated company, Nanto Bussan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture), will also celebrate its 50th anniversary in the same year. Taking this opportunity, this year is designated as the "Nanto Group Anniversary," and we will be rolling out various initiatives.

As the first phase, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, we held a workshop titled "The Sky as a Canvas! Let's Draw the Treasures of This Island's Nature, Connecting to the Future!" at our operated facility, "Okinawa World," inviting local children.

### An Experience of "Connecting to the Future" Drawn Together with the Community This event was planned with the theme of connecting the charm of Okinawa, which our group has cherished, to the next generation.

On the day, 63 children, mainly 3rd and 4th graders from elementary schools in Okinawa Prefecture, participated with their guardians. In front of the red-tiled traditional Okinawan houses in the "Ryukyu Kingdom Castle Town" area within the facility, four large transparent vinyl sheets (1.2m x 3.5m) were used as canvases, where participants freely drew various motifs such as marine life, sky creatures, mountain animals, and flowers.
