Gunze Co., Ltd. (Head office: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Toshiyasu Saguchi; hereinafter Gunze) has started ad truck running and TV commercial broadcasting for 'Acedoron', which has surpassed cumulative shipments of 3 million units in its two years since debut and continues its strong momentum this year. Equipped with Gunze's best-ever 'sweat elimination' technology, 'Acedoron' offers a solution for sweat problems that people want to be free from immediately during the increasingly severe and prolonged heatwaves.

Direct approach with ad trucks to the discomfort of sweat felt during transitions from movement to stillness

Temperatures and humidity continue to rise, and this year 'extreme heat day' has become an official forecast term. Just walking outside makes sweat sticky. Especially during moments of transition from movement to stillness, such as waiting for traffic lights or elevators, the sweat running down the skin and its stickiness are felt. By appealing to sight and hearing (sound) at those moments of discomfort, we directly propose solutions to serious sweat problems.

New TV commercial 'That annoying sweat, drop it.'

In this new commercial, the discomfort, signs, and moments of sweat in annoying bras and T-shirts are expressed with our original 'asemotope' (a coined word combining 'ase' (sweat) and 'onomatopoeia'). The rhythmically inserted 'too' flowing sweat and 'bettah' clinging sweat make it easy to recall uncomfortable sweat moments, and the commercial intuitively conveys that this is the product to try at such times.
