Asuiku Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Keiko Sashiwaki), which operates the babysitting search and reservation service "Asuiku" and the experiential babysitting service "Wakuiku," will hold the experiential babysitting program "Ekiiku in Romancecar Museum" at the Romancecar Museum (Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture) starting July 11, 2026, as a series of four events per year.

Last year, "Ekiiku in Romancecar Museum," held for the first time, aimed to foster rich sensibilities and learning by allowing children to experience authentic railway culture on the stage of the coveted limited express "Romancecar." After the event, many parents commented on how their children enjoyed the program, with feedback such as "It was great to participate, seeing how happy my child was talking about it afterward" and "My child was so excited to tell me about getting to enter the driver's seat, which is usually off-limits." The satisfaction rating averaged 9.8 out of 10 points, indicating its popularity.

Following last year's positive reception, this second event will again feature special programs that allow children to learn through hands-on experience, including riding in the driver's seats of actual retired historical trains, exploring the museum, and creating model trains and badges. The four-part program will each have a different theme, delving deeper into the charm of the Romancecar with each installment. Additionally, an "Ekiiku in Romancecar Museum Annual Passport" will be available for purchase, offering a discounted rate for booking all four sessions.

The first installment will allow participants to infiltrate the driver's seat located directly above the panoramic seats of the white "Romancecar VSE (50000 series)," newly exhibited since March 2026, and learn about the secret two-tiered structure of the driver's compartment and panoramic seats. This initial program will also allow children to discover the appeal of the Romancecar in a fun way through creating their own original model trains and exploring the Romancecar Gallery.

Childcare providers will accompany the children throughout the program, so parental accompaniment is not required. While children engage in hands-on experiences and enjoy self-discovery and learning, parents can spend their free time, thus balancing the child's "rich growth experience" with the parent's "refreshment."
