Tomohiro Hoshi (Hoshi Tomohiro)
Born in Tokyo in 1977. Graduated from the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Letters, the University of Tokyo in 2001. Moved to the United States in 2002. After earning a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Stanford University in 2008, he lectured on logic as a faculty member at the same university. In 2016, he was appointed Principal of Stanford Online High School. While in his current position, he lectures on philosophy, logic, and leadership, and consults on education and education-related technology for the United States and Asia. In Japan, he serves as a specially appointed professor at Keio University and a specially appointed professor at Yokohama City University.
