Sega's Male VTuber Unit "Haihapi!!" Begins Utilizing KADOKAWA's "CSP" Program

KADOKAWA Corporation (hereinafter "KADOKAWA") and SEGA Corporation (hereinafter "SEGA") are pleased to announce that "Haihapi!!", the male VTuber unit launched by SEGA, has begun utilizing "CSP (Creator Support Program)", a YouTube MCN service provided by KADOKAWA.

By utilizing CSP, "Haihapi!!" members can now make secondary use of various copyrighted works—including games, anime, and karaoke tracks—enabling them to expand the scope of their activities.

What is "CSP (Creator Support Program)"?

"CSP" is a service that leverages YouTube's MCN (*1) functionality and KADOKAWA's proprietary system for managing secondary usage and revenue distribution, enabling creators and rights holders to access new revenue and PR opportunities (service launched March 2022).

Under its corporate mission of "Connecting the world's talent with emotion as a creative platformer," the KADOKAWA Group aims to foster a global "chain of creation" by granting secondary usage rights to its IPs—including selected anime and creators' content—through the CSP program.

Currently, CSP is utilized by a wide range of YouTube channels, including VTubers, streamers, official anime channels, and clip channels, both in Japan and abroad. The program now encompasses over 780 channels, with a total subscriber count exceeding 68 million (*2).
