Title and Cover Revealed for Mayama Rika's 2nd Photobook, Released July 22

The title and cover of the second photobook by Mayama Rika, the oldest member of the idol group Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku (nicknamed Ebichu), which celebrates its 17th anniversary this year, have finally been unveiled!

The title is "Machiawase" (Meeting Place). The cover features a photo of her standing in a red dress. The title and cover evoke a story-like feeling, as if she had arrived early at the meeting place and turned around when called out to.

The photobook was shot in the "Land of Smiles," Thailand. It captures her natural self, relaxing on the beaches of Pattaya and at a resort villa, as well as strolling through the city and traveling by train.

This photobook, capturing her "now," is being published in her final year of her 20s. She has always been dedicated to her idol activities, continuously and stoically polishing herself to shine powerfully since the group's formation. It also includes her first-ever swimsuit and lingerie shots, offering exciting new sides of her.

For this second photobook, I chose the title after selecting the cover. I thought a lot about it, but since I've spent my 20s as an idol, I've had many opportunities to make "meeting places" with fans, like saying "Our next live is here!" So this time, it's a "meeting place" with everyone in Thailand ♡

The cover photo really feels like the moment we meet after waiting for each other! I'm happy to have become a woman who can casually wear my favorite red dress. Please try to imagine what my first words would be in the photo, like a comedy routine! (laughs)

I went into the shoot hoping it would be a book that shows where I am now, but there are many photos of me relaxing and laughing more than I expected. I felt that my experience as an idol has given me the leeway to enjoy challenges I hadn't taken on before, like swimsuits and lingerie. I want to quickly deliver to everyone the proof of my colorful 20s!
