KADOKAWA CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Director, Representative Executive Officer, President & CEO: Takeshi Natsuno; hereinafter KADOKAWA) will hold a two-day work experience event at Miraiya Shoten Kawaguchi Store's Miraiya no Mori, where participants can enjoy the world of the popular picture book series 'KADOKAWA's Collecting Picture Book GET!' and create their own original picture book. The event will take place on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, 2026. This is the first time such a special workshop for parents and children will be held at Miraiya Shoten Kawaguchi Store. [Picture Book Editor Work Experience] Create Your Own Original Picture Book!! A "Real Experience" That is One of a Kind in the World Feel like an "editor" and try creating your own original picture book! This work experience event, where you can create an original picture book, will be held for a limited two days on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Miraiya Shoten Kawaguchi Store. At the beginning of the event, a photo of your child will be taken, and that photo will be used on the "cover" and in the "afterword" of the picture book. The completed picture book will be one of a kind in the world. You can take it home on the day, but there is also a "paid additional option" to have it professionally finished at a printing factory! It also includes a special pop-up illustration page, making it an experience that is sure to become a lifelong treasure. You can choose the genre of the picture book from "Insects," "Fish," or "Dangerous Creatures." *The content of the picture book is based on KADOKAWA's Collecting Picture Book GET! The photo you take will become the cover of your picture book. Explanation of the picture book editor's job 2. Choose the genre of the picture book! 3. Decide on the theme you want to create 4. Select cards that match the theme 5. Decide on the title of the book 6.
