'Mappy' and 'Valkyrie no Bouken' Become Blankets! 2nd 'Classic Game Blanket' Series to be Released on September 16, 2026. Pre-orders Now Open

KADOKAWA Game Linkage Inc. announced that it will release two types of blankets featuring the outer box designs of Famicom titles, 'Classic Game Blanket' ('Mappy' and 'Valkyrie no Bouken'), on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Following the first series including 'Pac-Man,' two titles from Namcot software have been carefully selected. The blankets (1044mm x 700mm) and their outer boxes (A4 size) feature designs that faithfully reproduce the original Famicom software boxes as much as possible. Additionally, a 16-page A5-sized booklet containing images of Namcot Famicom software cartridges is included. The price is 3,300 yen (tax included) each, and pre-orders started today, Thursday, May 28, 2026.
