Tokai Walker Summer 2026, a Special 30th Anniversary Issue, Goes on Sale June 15! Must-See Gravure of Hokuto Matsumura (SixTONES) Shot in His Hometown Shizuoka!

KADOKAWA Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President, and CEO: Takeshi Natsuno) announced that its regional information magazine, 'Tokai Walker Summer 2026', will be released on Monday, June 15. Pre-orders began today.

'Tokai Walker' was first launched in July 1996, and this issue is a super special edition commemorating its 30th anniversary. In addition to a separate appendix, the super-value 'Premium Coupon BOOK,' it's packed with information to fully enjoy summer, including the 'Top 30 Cool Summer Activities' that require no reservations, a thorough dissection of 'The Landmark Nagoya Sakae' opening in June, trending 'Spice Gourmet,' a deep dive into the four major Tokai aquariums with 'Aquarium Obsession,' and the latest parfaits & shaved ice in 'Summer Sweets.' This issue is filled with numerous projects commemorating its 30th anniversary (listed below).

① Special Feature: 'Top 30 Cool Summer Activities'

This feature covers cool summer activities usable this summer, such as scenic spots, activities, pools, and haunted houses. In celebration of the 30th anniversary, it offers a grand volume of 30 plans. Hokuto Matsumura of SixTONES, also known from his serialization 'Atelier no Mae de,' makes a solo appearance on the cover. The gravure features a one-day location shoot in Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture, his birthplace, visiting memorable tourist spots and local long-established restaurants.

④ Popular Series: 'My Name is Hidaka Ukisho!' Extended Edition

Hidaka Ukisho of ACEes, a popular idol from Aichi Prefecture, has his popular series 'My Name is Hidaka Ukisho!' expanded to 8 pages in this issue, commemorating both the 30th installment of the series and the magazine's 30th anniversary. The location shoot was carried out at spots gathered through fan polls on social media.

More 30th-anniversary projects are currently in preparation!
