Directed by Antoine Fuqua, known for "Training Day" and the "Equalizer" series, and produced by Graham King, who handled the global mega-hit "Bohemian Rhapsody," the film depicts young Michael's "moment of creation," as he creates numerous masterpieces while grappling between his father's dominance and his own dreams. It also shows him as a human being confronting the loneliness that comes with his talent. The lead role is played by Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson's nephew, who inherits his uncle's genes. With 27 of Michael's "magical" masterpieces, the beginning of his legend will be resurrected on screen on an unprecedented scale.
