Additionally, the company is involved in various game-related fields such as merchandise production, event planning and management, and esports management.
The newly introduced "Game Purchase Support System" was created based on employee feedback expressing a desire to "know and utilize games more." It subsidizes the cost of purchasing game software and game applications. In conjunction with the "Subscription Allowance" introduced in August 2022, the company aims to create an environment where employees can engage with games and entertainment, thereby promoting diverse input and improving creativity.
KADOKAWA Game Linkage will continue to focus on disseminating attractive information and producing content, supporting employees in creating new value through this system and others.
◆ "Game Purchase Support System" Overview
Purpose: To increase employees' exposure to games, including new releases and genres.
Content: A portion of the cost of game software and game applications purchased from company-designated vendors (e.g., proprietary e-commerce site Ebten, direct manufacturer sales sites) will be reimbursed, up to a maximum of 16,000 yen per fiscal year.
Introduction Date: April 1, 2026
Eligible: KADOKAWA Game Linkage full-time employees, contract employees, continuously employed contract employees, and seconded employees primarily working for the company.
◆ "Subscription Allowance" Overview
Purpose: To enrich employees' leisure time and provide opportunities for broader input.
Content: A flat rate of 3,000 yen per month will be paid to employees who subscribe to at least one entertainment-related subscription service (e.g., games, video, music).
Introduction Date: August 25, 2022
Eligible: KADOKAWA Game Linkage full-time employees, contract employees, and part-time employees (full-time only).
