KADOKAWA Co., Ltd. and Vantan Game Academy have been appointed as sponsors for the 2026 fiscal year of the VALORANT Youth division of "FAV gaming," a professional gaming team operated by KADOKAWA Game Linkage Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Shusuke Toyoshima).

KADOKAWA Co., Ltd., which will become a sponsor from the 2026 fiscal year, views this initiative as a role to expand the overall brand of the KADOKAWA Group by collaborating with other professional teams (KADOKAWA Sakura Knights, KADOKAWA DREAMS).

By operating under the team name "KADOKAWA FAV VANTAN," they will work with Vantan Game Academy, part of the same group, to boost the esports market.

The initiatives between FAV gaming and Vantan Game Academy include dispatching FAV gaming players and coaches as instructors, appearing in and cooperating with various in-campus events, and other measures to help students feel closer to the latest esports scene.

Furthermore, from the 2024 fiscal year, the VALORANT Youth division started its activities under the team name "VANTAN FAV gaming." They have achieved excellent results, including victories in community tournaments.

At the same time, they are also conducting initiatives to help enrolled VANTAN students aim to become professional players, such as holding tryouts for the team, supporting students from various aspects.
