(President and CEO: Mitsuru Aoyama, hereinafter referred to as GMO GlobalSign HD) has entered into a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services Japan LLC (hereinafter referred to as AWS) aimed at accelerating the adoption of generative AI and secure cloud operations and migration for Japanese small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

Based on this agreement, GMO GlobalSign HD will combine its cloud operation experience and customer base cultivated through its AWS utilization support service "CloudCREW byGMO" with investment and advanced cloud technologies from AWS. This synergy will address the IT challenges of SMBs and strongly support their sustainable business transformation.

Background of Collaboration (Expanding Generative AI Use and Three Challenges Faced by SMBs):

In recent years, the use of generative AI has spread to companies of all sizes, making the adoption and utilization of AI and cloud migration (cloud lift and shift) urgent tasks. However, many SMBs face significant hurdles in their DX promotion due to three main challenges:
