▶ What is D-SHOCK?
D-SHOCK is a nationwide street dance competition that started in 2016.
It features four categories: U-10 (elementary school 4th grade and below), U-12 (elementary school 6th grade and below), U-15 (junior high school students and below), and OPEN (high school students and above), with preliminaries held across the country.
Through both online and offline preliminaries, D-SHOCK creates an environment where dancers nationwide can challenge themselves regardless of their region.
It comprehensively evaluates artistry, technical skill, and expression, aiming to be a "gateway for next-generation dancers" where many dancers aspire to perform on national stages.
Starting this season, a three-tier category system has been introduced: "BASE" for beginners and unawarded participants, "OPEN" for national-level dancers, and "PRIME" as the highest category for a limited number of highly skilled dancers.
This evolution allows the competition to offer stages suitable for every level, from beginners to top dancers.
