GRIFFY Launches AI Intrusion Detection Solution "PROLICA LIGHT"

This service is an edge AI camera system that automatically detects the movement of people and vehicles within camera footage, enabling real-time alert notifications. By eliminating the need for analysis model construction and additional learning, it reduces introduction costs and lead times, thereby improving the efficiency of safety management at construction sites.

Background and Purpose

Ensuring safety at construction sites is a top priority, requiring the deployment of supervisors and the utilization of digital technologies for tasks such as preventing contact accidents with heavy machinery and managing access to hazardous areas. However, conventional AI monitoring systems often required significant costs and time for site-specific learning and model construction. To address these challenges, GRIFFY has launched the rental service of "PROLICA LIGHT," which specializes in common use cases at construction sites, such as detecting unauthorized entry into hazardous areas and managing vehicle access points, and can be easily set up and operated by users themselves.

Main Features of "PROLICA LIGHT"

Real-time capability without relying on the cloud: Image analysis is completed within the edge AI camera, eliminating delays caused by cloud transmission. Upon detection, it can immediately link with external devices such as rotating lights and car gates, contributing to the reduction of accident risks at construction sites.

Quick deployment without the need for learning: Equipped with a standard AI analysis package, it does not require model construction or additional learning. Its strength lies in the speed with which operations can begin immediately after equipment installation, simply by setting detection conditions via a browser application.

Flexible detection patterns and remote settings: Users can freely combine detection targets (people, vehicles, two-wheelers) and detection patterns (intrusion detection, loitering detection, direction detection, line crossing). These settings, detection range, and sensitivity can be adjusted remotely via a browser.

Package compatible with power-less environments: The package includes an edge AI camera, a communication/control panel, and a web application. By combining it with an optional solar independent power system, it can be installed and used in locations without commercial power.

Furthermore, for sites requiring more complex AI analysis and data visualization, we will continue to offer optimal edge AI solutions tailored to site needs, such as deploying our higher-tier service "PROLICA CORE."
