GRIFFY Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takuya Irisawa; hereinafter "GRIFFY") announces that it will begin offering "PROLICA LIGHT," an AI intrusion detection solution for construction sites, in early June 2026.
This service is an edge AI camera system that automatically detects the movement of people and vehicles in camera footage using AI, enabling real-time alert notifications. By eliminating the need for analysis model construction and additional learning, it reduces introduction costs and lead times, thereby improving the efficiency of safety management on site.
■ Background and Purpose
Ensuring safety on construction sites is a top priority, requiring the deployment of supervisors and the utilization of digital technologies to prevent accidents with heavy machinery and manage access to hazardous areas. However, conventional AI surveillance systems often required significant cost and time for site-specific learning and model construction. To solve these challenges, GRIFFY has launched the rental service of "PROLICA LIGHT," which specializes in general use cases at construction sites, such as detecting unauthorized entry into hazardous areas and managing safety at vehicle entrances/exits, and can be easily set up and operated by users themselves.
■ Main Features of "PROLICA LIGHT"
Real-time capability without cloud intervention: Image analysis is completed within the edge AI camera, eliminating delays caused by cloud transmission. Upon detection, it can immediately link with external devices such as rotating lights and car gates, contributing to the reduction of accident risks at construction sites.
Quick on-site deployment without learning: Equipped with a standard AI analysis package, it does not require model construction or additional learning. Its strength lies in the speed with which operations can begin immediately after installation, simply by setting detection conditions via a browser application.
Flexible detection patterns and remote settings: Detection targets (people, vehicles, two-wheeled vehicles) and detection patterns (intrusion detection, loitering detection, direction detection, line crossing) can be freely combined. These settings, detection range, and sensitivity can be adjusted remotely via a browser.
Package offering compatible with power-less environments: The edge AI camera, communication/control panel, and web application are provided as a package. By combining with an optional solar independent power system, it can be installed and used even in locations without commercial power.
Furthermore, for sites requiring AI analysis and data visualization under more complex conditions, we will continue to provide optimal edge AI solutions tailored to site needs, such as deploying our advanced service "PROLICA CORE."
■ About GRIFFY Co., Ltd.
GRIFFY's mission is "Drawing the future of the construction industry with digital technology." In addition to co-creation projects for DX products and solutions specialized in the construction domain, we operate a rental service business that offers a lineup of numerous construction DX solutions under the "Genba Lloyd" brand.
"Genba Lloyd" has a cumulative track record of over 20,000 implementations (as of the end of December 2025). By combining the know-how accumulated through on-site implementation with digital-native ideas, we contribute to creating an environment where everyone involved in the construction industry can work happily, by addressing common challenges across the entire construction industry such as productivity improvement, labor saving, and safety measures.
