GreenSnap Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Koichi Nishida), the operator of the plant community app "GreenSnap," is pleased to announce the results of the "Hanamiru Stamp Rally," an experiential event held in Yokohama to visit famous flower spots as part of "Garden Necklace Yokohama 2026," an initiative promoted by Yokohama City for creating a city of flowers and greenery. The event, held from March 19 (Thu) to June 14 (Sun), 2026, attracted a total of 4,642 participants. A total of 5,202 photos of seasonal flowers taken by participants at each spot were automatically posted on the special website "Hanamiru Spot Yokohama," creating a system that allows real-time enjoyment of Yokohama's spring flower bloom status and enabling the promotion of attractive spots.

Background of the "Hanamiru Stamp Rally"

The "Hanamiru Stamp Rally" was held as an experiential event to encourage participants to actually visit famous flower spots, as part of Yokohama City's "Garden Necklace Yokohama 2026" initiative. The event utilized GreenSnap Inc.'s digital stamp rally system "Smapeta" (https://service.smapeta.jp/), providing an easy experience where participants could collect stamps and join photo missions through their browser without needing to install an app. The event targeted 8 spots, including those in central Yokohama such as Yamashita Park and Harbor View Park, as well as two events: "GreenSnap Marche YOKOHAMA 2026" and "Yokohama Flower & Garden Festival 2026." The design combined collecting visit stamps with a "Take a Photo of Flowers" mission.

By encouraging an active experience of finding and photographing seasonal flowers on-site, rather than just visiting spots, the aim was to create a system where participants themselves become recorders of Yokohama's spring scenery and share the charm of the flowers and greenery that adorn the city.

Many Participants Visited Multiple Spots

During the event period, a total of 4,642 participants visited, with 11,501 visit stamps collected in total. An average of 787 stamps were collected per spot across the 8 target locations. Active movement between multiple spots was observed, with 33 participants completing all spots.

The participant demographic was approximately 70% female (69.9%, 3,246 participants), with a focus on those in their 50s (30.3%) and 60s (21.0%), but also included 1,501 participants in their 30s and 40s, indicating enjoyment across a wide age range. The peak in stamp collection occurred during the week of April 6-12, coinciding with "GreenSnap Marche YOKOHAMA 2026," where 2,046 stamps were collected in one week, confirming the surge in visits linked to the event.

88.3% of Visitors Photographed Flowers, 5,202 Flower Photos Collected

The "Take a Photo of Flowers" mission, a key feature of this event, resulted in the submission of 5,202 photos. Of the participants who visited the spots, 88.3% successfully completed the photo-taking mission, demonstrating a high rate of active engagement with flowers from visitation to photography.

The collected photos captured numerous spring scenes unique to Yokohama, such as yellow roses and the blue sky in the Minato Mirai area, the Marine Tower, fountain, and roses visible from Yamashita Park, and hydrangeas and the Bay Bridge from Harbor View Park. The photos of seasonal flowers, captured from the participants' perspectives, became content that conveyed Yokohama's spring highlights.

Collected Photos Publicly Available in Real-Time on "Hanamiru Spot Yokohama"

A system was implemented where photos taken and posted by participants were automatically displayed on the special website "Hanamiru Spot Yokohama." This allows users to check in real-time which flowers are in bloom at which spots, through photos taken by actual visitors.

As the latest flower conditions are updated for each park and spot, the participants' experiences are expanding into valuable content for those planning future outings and as a record of Yokohama's seasonal beauty.

Future Outlook

Through the "Hanamiru Stamp Rally," GreenSnap confirmed that the experience of visiting flower spots, photographing seasonal scenery, and sharing it contributes to both participants' enjoyment and the promotion of local floral attractions. Moving forward, GreenSnap will continue to expand experiential initiatives that combine plants and digital technology with local communities, contributing to the cultivation of a culture that enjoys flowers and greenery and the revitalization of the floriculture industry.
