Green Coop Shiga Maru Cooperative, a member of the Green Coop Community General Incorporated Association (Headquarters: Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, Representative Director: Yoko Hidaka, hereinafter Green Coop), which consists of 16 cooperatives mainly in western Japan, will hold its first "I Want You to Know! Delicious Coop, Life Coop Green Coop Festival" on Saturday, July 4th.
On the day, 20 Green Coop manufacturers and producers will gather to offer tastings and sales of Green Coop products. Products will be sold at special festival prices, which are more advantageous than regular catalog prices. In addition, there will be events for the whole family to enjoy, such as tasting of carefully selected bottled milk and a challenge to fill a bag with vegetables. Furthermore, those who pre-register and attend will receive a popular "Green Coop Product Assortment Set" as a gift.
We hope this will be an opportunity for not only Green Coop members but also for people in the region who have never used our services before to visit and learn about Green Coop's initiatives, which focus on safe and secure food, environmentally friendly product manufacturing, and building connections with the community.

In 2018, together with 16 cooperatives and various organizations in Kyushu (Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Kagoshima), Kinki (Osaka, Hyogo, Shiga), Chugoku (Tottori, Okayama, Shimane, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi), and Fukushima, including the Green Coop Consumers' Cooperative Federation, Green Coop Social Welfare Corporation, and Labor Cooperative, we established the "Green Coop Community General Incorporated Association." We have been working as consumer cooperatives rooted in each region, sharing and cooperating with what we have as if we were one Green Coop. Starting from the desire of mothers to "feed their children safe and secure food," we aim to enrich each of our regions.
