Established in 2018, the Green Co-op Federation was formed with 16 consumer co-operatives and various organizations from Kyushu (Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Kagoshima), Kinki (Osaka, Hyogo, Shiga), Chugoku (Tottori, Okayama, Shimane, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi), and Fukushima. They have been active as community-rooted consumer co-operatives, sharing and collaborating as if they were one Green Co-op. Starting from mothers' desire to provide safe and secure food for their children, they aim to enrich each region.
