Gravitate Osaka, operated by Gravity Park Ibaraki Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture, Representative Director: David Scott), a group company of Gravity Park Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, Representative Director: David Scott), will hold a spring event to fully enjoy nature from April 1, 2026 (Wednesday) at 15:00.

The project [GODA BRIDGE Koinobori Parade ~ The Longest Bridge in Japan Connecting Thoughts ~], which displays Koinobori carp streamers donated by local residents of Ibaraki City and surrounding areas, on the 'GODA BRIDGE', Japan's longest pedestrian suspension bridge, will be held from April 1, 2026 (Wednesday) to May 6, 2026 (Wednesday).

This event allows visitors to experience Japanese traditional culture firsthand while crossing the bridge, surrounded by the wind blowing over the Aigawa Dam Lake. They can witness various designs of Koinobori swimming gracefully, a fitting sight for the nature-rich Ibaraki area, which retains its original landscape.

Additionally, children up to elementary school age who cross the bridge round trip from April 29 (Wednesday) during Golden Week will receive a 'Commemorative Sticker for Conquering Japan's Longest Suspension Bridge'. (First 2,000 visitors)

With cherry blossoms, including large wild cherry trees and Somei Yoshino varieties, in full bloom, and free content like music events, Gravitate Osaka offers a wealth of attractions. We invite you to visit!

■ GODA BRIDGE Koinobori Parade ~ The Longest Bridge in Japan Connecting Thoughts ~ Event Overview

We called for donations of outdoor Koinobori that were no longer in use in households, primarily from Ibaraki City. As a result, over 300 Koinobori were donated to our facility.

By displaying these cherished Koinobori, once flown to celebrate children's growth, on the GODA BRIDGE – Japan's longest pedestrian suspension bridge over the Aigawa Dam – we hope to create a new tradition for Ibaraki City, symbolizing the celebration of growth for the region's children. Please come and witness them gracefully swimming in the vast sky, carried by the wind blowing from the Ibaraki satoyama towards the city.

Also, during the Golden Week period from April 29 (Wednesday) to May 6 (Wednesday), the first 2,000 children up to elementary school age who complete a round trip across the bridge will receive a 'Commemorative Sticker for Conquering Japan's Longest Suspension Bridge'.
