Kamogawa Sea World, a core facility operated by Granvista Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd., will host its summer "drenching festival," the killer whale "Summer Splash," starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

Featuring the "tail burst," where killer whales weighing over two tons powerfully slap their massive fins—wider than 1.5 meters—to shower the stadium with seawater, the popular "Summer Splash" performance is launching early this year in anticipation of the intense summer heat. Experience the power of the killer whales from head to toe.

Throughout the month leading up to the start of "Summer Splash," the official website will sequentially release summer updates in four stages.

About the Summer Splash Celebrated on social media as a "must-experience" event, "Summer Splash" is a summer staple where killer whales drench guests with powerful water sprays. The event will be held at Ocean Stadium from July 1 to August 31, 2026. Participation is free (requires separate museum admission).

Announcement Schedule for Summer Additions Updates are scheduled for June 12 (Fri), June 17 (Wed), June 19 (Fri), and June 24 (Wed).

Official Hotel Benefits Guests staying at the official hotel starting Tuesday, July 7, 2026, will enjoy benefits including free museum admission, use of the large public bath after checkout (14:00–18:00), pool access, and a complimentary poncho.
