On March 3, 2026, an internal cooking contest was held for young chefs from all Granvista Hotels & Resorts facilities. The theme for this year was "Evolution and Independence." A total of 46 chefs who passed the recipe screening advanced to the final round from across the country. In the final round, executives, general managers of each hotel, and executive chefs conducted a strict examination based on scoring items such as visual appeal, presentation, taste, and commercial viability. As a result, four chefs from Sapporo Grand Hotel won the highest awards in the Western, Japanese, Chinese, and Pastry categories.
