Granvista Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yukio Arai) announced that the Sapporo Grand Hotel (Chuo-ku, Sapporo; General Manager: Takanori Nagase) will begin offering 'New Specialty Dishes' as à la carte options at Garden Dining Waraku starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

At Garden Dining Waraku, where guests can spend a relaxing time overlooking a Japanese garden, the restaurant had long suspended its à la carte menu since 2020 due to the pandemic, focusing instead on 'Gozen' set meals for lunch and 'Kaiseki' courses for dinner. In response to guest requests, the restaurant is now resuming its dinner-time à la carte menu as 'New Specialty Dishes' with a refreshed lineup.

To cater to local, domestic, and international guests, the menu will feature standard items like Sashimi, Grilled Fish, and Tempura, alongside original dishes recommended by the head chef. A wide variety of sake, primarily from Hokkaido, will also be available.

Whether for a casual drink after work or a relaxed dinner gathering, guests can enjoy the pleasure of choosing from a diverse selection of plates on a peaceful spring evening.

The Sapporo Grand Hotel opened in 1934 at the suggestion of the late Prince Chichibu, serving as the city's reception room for the political and business worlds and as a social hub for citizens. As Hokkaido's first authentic Western-style hotel, it has played a role as a window to Western culture. We will continue to strive to be a hotel loved across generations and provide our guests with an enriched experience.
