This annual summer event, now in its fourth year since its first held in 2023, offers a special learning opportunity during the summer vacation period where children can experience actual tasks such as customer service and sales at popular shops within the facility.

This event is part of the "Living with GRANDUO" project, which aims to provide a place for children to "learn" while staying close to the lives of local customers. After the experience, participants will receive a certification badge and "salary" (500 yen worth of Granduo gift certificates), allowing them to experience the workings of society and the rewards of work in an enjoyable way.

This year, in addition to cafes, apparel, and bakery shops, the event will include a variety of other experiences such as a cosmetics shop experience and an appraiser experience. Furthermore, a backstage tour, offering a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes operations of the facility that are usually not visible to the public, will be offered free of charge to those who were not selected in the lottery, creating a wide range of experiential opportunities.

3. A Chance Even if You Don't Win the Lottery! "Backstage Tour" to Sneak into the Secret Behind-the-Scenes

As a second chance for those who unfortunately did not win the lottery for "Exciting Job Experience 2026," a "Granduo Tachikawa Special Backstage Tour" will be held free of charge on August 15 (Sat). Participants will be specially invited to the secret facilities and staff areas that support Granduo Tachikawa, which are usually off-limits to customers.
