<MIGAKI FARM> 'Berry Good Work' Agricultural Experience Workshop Offering Insider Access to Strawberry Farming Held Through End of June

(Headquarters: Yamamoto-cho, Miyagi Prefecture; CEO: Daiki Iwasa), producer of the 'edible jewel' MIGAKI ICHIGO strawberries, is holding a free workshop called 'Berry Good Work' at its facility, MIGAKI FARM, every Saturday and Sunday until the end of June 2026. This workshop allows participants to experience the professional craftsmanship behind the scenes of a strawberry farm, which is typically off-limits.

The agricultural experience program is designed for families and strawberry enthusiasts, allowing them to participate in tasks that support strawberry quality, such as runner removal and leaf trimming alongside staff, followed by a reward of strawberries and sweets after the work.

MIGAKI FARM has actively engaged with fans through agricultural experiences. Last year, seeing many enthusiastic fans returning repeatedly, and considering that strawberry cultivation involves multiple stages, the 2026 program has been updated by introducing a 'mechanism to visualize a sense of achievement (Repeater Card).'

While keeping the authentic experience of working alongside professionals, this year's program evolves to make participants feel connected as farm partners, supporting strawberry growth as 'their own' through the new card element.

[1] Insider Access to the 'Backstage of the Farm'
Participants learn the depth of real agricultural work by performing essential, delicate tasks typically reserved for professionals, such as runner removal and leaf trimming.

[2] Introduction of 'Repeater Card' to Collect Work Accomplishments
Starting this term, a 'Berry Good Work Repeater Card' will be distributed to repeaters. Dates are recorded each time they experience important stages that vary by season, such as runner removal, leaf trimming, and trimming of flower stems, fostering deeper attachment to the farm.

[3] Sweet Rewards After a 'Berry Good Work'
After working hard and sweating, participants are rewarded by staff with words of 'Very Good Work!' and a sample of the farm's signature strawberries. This year, experts have selected the best-ripened berries for maximum freshness.

[4] A Multi-Generational Experience to Think About 'Food'
From 3rd graders to adults, families and groups work together side-by-side on the rows. By experiencing the scent of the soil and the heat of the greenhouse, the program provides a venue for 'food education' (Shokuiku), helping participants understand the significance of every single strawberry.
