Toy manufacturer GP Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Hideharu Yonekawa) will release the renewed version of 'Catan Standard Edition' today, April 24.
Designs of cards and more completely renewed!
Following the renewed versions released in Germany and other countries last year to coincide with Catan's 30th anniversary, the Japanese version of 'Catan' has finally been decided for a renewal.
In the renewed version, the design of game parts such as cards and boards has been completely renewed to something more modern.
In addition to improving the visibility of the cards, the addition of piece boxes makes it more playable than ever before.
