GovTech Tokyo has released an archive video of the "GovTech Conference" held on February 6, 2026 (Friday). At this conference, under the theme of "The Future of Medical DX ~Transformation of Medical Frontlines Brought by DX~", government, medical institutions, businesses, and others gathered to discuss the current state and future of medical DX, aiming to utilize technology to solve challenges in medical settings. In the first half, Tadateru Yamada, Director-General of the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Social Welfare and Public Health, presented the three pillars of medical DX in Tokyo and initiatives promoted by the metropolitan government in fiscal year Reiwa 8. Subsequently, Masami Sakoi, Medical Inspector-General of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, gave a presentation on medical DX policies promoted by the national government. In the second half, a panel discussion was held on the theme of "The Future of Medical DX", discussing the transformation of medical settings through DX from diverse perspectives including government, medical institutions, businesses, and patients. Discussions covered the importance of DX in medical institutions, challenges faced on the ground, the use of technology to improve patient satisfaction, and the possibilities that lie beyond.
