Good Smile Company Launches New Original Robot Anime Series 'Gattai Shin Series' for 25th Anniversary

Good Smile Company, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Gentaro Iwasa; hereinafter 'the Company') is launching a new project in anticipation of its 25th anniversary in 2026. The project is called the 'Gattai Shin Series'.

Through its mecha label 'Mecha Smile', Good Smile Company will depict the excitement of 'combining robots' that has captivated fans for many years, using modern visual expression for combining robot fans worldwide. This project is an unprecedented challenge to develop a series of combining robot anime with different motifs each year, aiming to become a 'new standard' for combining robot anime in the Reiwa era.

The first commemorative work of this project is the completely new anime 'Juou Bushin Dandivine', scheduled to begin broadcasting in October 2026.

A new robot anime that fuses classic appeal with modern visual expression is scheduled to begin broadcasting in October 2026.

"Synopsis Revealed"

It has been 20 years since the combining robot 'Dandivine' repelled the mysterious enemy 'Apos Doll'.

The world was at peace, but the 'toy manufacturer Casga', which once dominated the world by commercializing Dandivine as a toy, was on a path of business decline due to over-dependence on Dandivine.

'Genjuro Shijima', the president of Casga, wishes for Dandivine's revival, even if it means disrupting the peace.

As if his wish reached the heavens, Apos Doll appears in Tokyo again.

People, who had been immersed in peace for 20 years without incident, fall into a great panic.

Amidst the chaos, a high school student, 'Gekiha Shijima', is invited by his uncle 'Yusaku Kuroiwa', a former main pilot, to board Dandivine.

What is the purpose of the newly appeared Apos Doll?

Will Casga regain its hegemony in the toy industry?

Gekiha's younger sister. She is an ultra-beautiful girl when she keeps quiet, but she has quite a sharp tongue. She is often drawn to things that are not ordinary, and her classmates treat her as a 'mysterious girl'.
