Holding a Summer Internship with a Direct Path to Job Offer
In an era where AI is said to be capable of handling output, what can only humans do? The design that Goodpatch envisions is not limited to aesthetic arrangement; it encompasses the entire process of questioning, discovering, and maximizing "what constitutes essential value." We believe this is not solely the work of designers, but a necessary skill for everyone involved in business.
We want many students to discover the excitement of design.
With this in mind, Goodpatch has decided to hold a summer internship again this year.
To those of you who analyze markets, form hypotheses, and build with logic, yet feel a sense of unease with the lack of a "tangible feel" that appeals to human sensibility, or with outputs that seem easily replaceable by AI.
Why not experience the process at Goodpatch, where complex business challenges are not merely concluded with logic, but elevated into "emotions" and "experiences" through the power of design?

Summer Internship Information
Thinking about business creation that balances solving corporate management issues and user issues
In this summer internship, you will practice process design, research, idea generation, experience design, and business model construction based on a UX design approach.
You will confront service design from a "user experience (UX) perspective," which cannot be reached by market figures and logic alone. We will refine concept-making that balances "client management issues" and "essential user needs" into concrete forms, while skillfully utilizing the latest AI tools. This is also recommended for those interested in business development, marketing, planning, and consulting.
On the day, Goodpatch's service designers, who are active in the field, will serve as mentors, and opportunities for communication with management, such as presentation sessions and social gatherings, will also be provided. Furthermore, by participating in this internship, you can advance to the final selection step for 2028 graduate recruitment earlier.

Participant Voices and Affiliated Universities
Here are some voices from past summer internship participants and their affiliated universities.

-
This was undoubtedly the most fulfilling internship I've ever participated in. I was able to fully absorb not only the highly abstract work processes and ways of thinking, but also the excitement of the industry and the reality of the field during these two days. It became an internship that will forever remain in my memory.
-
Through this internship, I learned that the true essence of UX is not just visualizing problems, but clearly translating them into experiences. I realized the importance of designing not only ideas to solve problems, but also the movements and emotions users experience when they actually engage with that experience.
-
The mentors had strong logical thinking skills and always provided feedback from a broad perspective. They also gave precise answers to my questions with high-resolution language, which was very educational. The warm atmosphere, where they seriously engaged with us while not forgetting fun and passion, was very impressive.
-
The level of the students who participated with me was truly high. The depth of their problem interpretation and the speed at which they arrived at solutions were clearly different from other internships. Being surrounded by people who possessed things I didn't yet have was purely stimulating.
