Gong cha Japan to Launch TEACRAFT’s Second Release, “Muscat & Peach Dong Ding Oolong”

Gong cha Japan Co., Ltd. announced that it will launch “Muscat & Peach Dong Ding Oolong,” the second product in its seasonal tea series TEACRAFT, for a limited time at all Gong cha stores in Japan from May 21, 2026. Cookies designed to pair well with TEACRAFT will also go on sale the same day. TEACRAFT is a new series launched by Gong cha in March under the concept of “aromatic teas that make the heart flutter.” The series features premium teas blended with seasonal fruits and flowers. The new “Muscat & Peach Dong Ding Oolong” uses Dong Ding oolong, one of Taiwan’s four famous teas, as its base. Known for its clear golden color and elegant floral aroma, the tea is layered with the refreshing scent of muscat grapes and the full fruitiness of peach, resulting in a light and clean finish suited to early summer. The lineup includes four varieties: straight tea, milk tea, milk foam tea, and almond milk tea. The milk foam tea tops the muscat- and peach-scented straight tea with rich, sweet-and-salty milk foam. As the drink is enjoyed, the foam gradually melts into the tea, changing the flavor from crisp and refreshing to smooth and creamy. The straight tea highlights the golden color and floral character of Dong Ding oolong; the milk tea adds mellow milk while keeping a clean profile; and the almond milk tea combines the tea with the nutty aroma of almond milk and the two fruit flavors. The cookie set includes two moist, crumbly peach-scented cookies and one crisp Earl Grey-scented cookie. Some ingredients in the peach cookies contain liquor. Prices are as follows: Muscat & Peach Dong Ding Oolong Milk Foam Tea is 380 yen for iced S, 430 yen for iced M, 520 yen for iced L, 380 yen for hot S, and 430 yen for hot M. Muscat & Peach Dong Ding Oolong Tea is 290 yen for iced S, 340 yen for iced M, 430 yen for iced L, 290 yen for hot S, and 340 yen for hot M. Muscat & Peach Dong Ding Oolong Milk Tea is 440 yen for iced S, 490 yen for iced M, 580 yen for iced L, 440 yen for hot S, and 490 yen for hot M. Muscat & Peach Dong Ding Oolong Almond Milk Tea is 490 yen for iced S, 540 yen for iced M, 630 yen for iced L, 490 yen for hot S, and 540 yen for hot M. The cookie set is priced at 220 yen. All prices include tax, and the end date may vary by store and stock availability. The products will be available at all Gong cha stores in Japan, though some stores may not carry every item. Up to two additional toppings can be added to the milk foam tea, while up to three additional toppings can be added to the straight tea, milk tea, and almond milk tea. Originating in Taiwan, Gong cha is a global tea cafe brand with more than 2,000 stores in around 30 countries. It entered Japan in 2015 and now operates about 200 stores nationwide.
