Report on Participation in Exchange Activities with Okinawa Prefectural Misaki Special Support School by #32 Morihisa Yamauchi

On Wednesday, July 8th, an exchange event was held at the sub-arena of Okinawa Arena, welcoming 44 students and staff from the senior high school division of Okinawa Prefectural Misaki Special Support School. Kings' #32 Morihisa Yamauchi, Player Development Coach Tsubasa Yonamine, and GORDY participated.

This initiative was implemented as part of a community collaboration project with Okinawa City, in partnership with Okinawa Arena Co., Ltd. The event aimed to provide students with a special experience at Okinawa Arena and to foster ongoing relationships within the community. Representing the Kings were #32 Yamauchi, who serves as a "Champuru Okinawa City Ambassador" promoting the charms of Okinawa City, and Player Development Coach Yonamine.

On the day, activities included sports using basketball in the sub-arena, a Q&A session with #32 Yamauchi, and commemorative photos.

#32 Yamauchi joined the students, who enthusiastically participated in the program led by Player Development Coach Yonamine, spending a time filled with smiles while chasing the ball and dribbling together. It was an exchange that allowed participants to feel the joy of moving their bodies through basketball and the pleasure of communication.

Today was a very short time, but seeing everyone enjoy playing basketball gave me energy, and I had a very enjoyable time.

I am very happy to have been able to play basketball with everyone today at Okinawa Arena and share this time together.

Okinawa City has wonderful facilities like this. The Kings' home games will start in October, so please come to the venue and give warm support to the players shining on the court.

Going forward, Ryukyu Golden Kings will continue to work towards "Energizing Okinawa More!" through community exchange activities, delivering vitality and energy to the region based on our activity philosophy.

In addition, Ryukyu Golden Kings and Okinawa Arena Co., Ltd. are engaged in activities such as greeting campaigns, community beautification, and exchange events as part of the "Ooki Nawa" initiative. We will continue to work towards creating a "big circle" here in "Okinawa."
