The Ryukyu Golden Kings are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Ryo Sadohara (#8) to extend his contract for the 2026-27 season, signing a two-year multi-year deal.

Club Statement: We are delighted to continue fighting alongside Ryo next season. His strong mentality to take shots without hesitation in crucial moments and his stoic approach to daily training are invaluable assets to our team. His dramatic winning shot in the EASL Finals third-place match in Macau and his clutch shots in the B.League Finals are iconic moments that remain in the memories of our fans. Throughout the season, he has steadily increased his versatility and stability, showing significant growth on both offense and defense. His relentless drive to win and constant pursuit of growth raise our expectations for the future of the Kings. We ask for your continued support for Ryo.

Player Statement: Thank you for your support during the 2025-26 season. Thanks to your cheers, I was able to fight until the very end. However, I have not yet achieved the goal of winning a championship ring that I set when I joined. The 2026-27 season will be the inaugural year of the B.Premier, and while the schedule will be tough, I will do my best to win the championship while carrying on the culture and history of the Kings.
