Throughout the season, we held 82 games, with 38 games at the Okinawa Suntory Arena, welcoming a total of 313,420 spectators. We sincerely thank everyone who supported the team at every game with a great atmosphere and passion.
We also extend our gratitude to the members of the Kings Supporters Club, who strongly support the Kings, for their significant cooperation in holding today's '2025-26 Season Report Meeting.' Thank you very much.
This season marked the 10th year since the opening of the B.LEAGUE, representing a milestone as the final season of the current league. Looking back to 2016 when the B.LEAGUE started, our record was 29 wins and 31 losses, and we were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the championship. Our journey began from a start that was far from smooth.
Ten years later, running alongside our supporters, we have achieved 7 West Division titles, advanced to all 9 championships, made 5 consecutive appearances in the finals, and won the Emperor's Cup.
This season, we achieved a milestone of 400 total wins in the regular season, finishing with a record of 42 wins and 18 losses. We fought to the very end in the finals with the 'power of unity' alongside our fans, ending the season as runners-up.
Beyond domestic competition, on the stage of the East Asia Super League (EASL), we competed with East Asian powerhouses and achieved 3rd place, a first in club history. Aiming to be an Asian-leading club with the slogan 'Bringing Okinawa to the World,' we have demonstrated clear growth.
Our youth teams, representing the next generation, also continue to take on challenges, turning the support of many into strength. The Kings U15 achieved a second consecutive victory at the 'Infronia B.LEAGUE U15 CHAMPIONSHIP 2026,' which determines the best club youth team in Japan. The Kings U18 are making remarkable progress through experiences such as selections for Japan national team players by age group and valuable overseas experience in Hong Kong.
Regarding community-based activities, this season we continued our community outreach program 'Ookinawa,' engaging in 331 activities, including greeting activities across the prefecture and basketball clinics on remote islands, through sports.
All these activities are entirely due to the support of our 982 partners, including official partners and support companies who resonate with our philosophy, 'Energizing Okinawa!' We deeply thank everyone in the community and our partner companies for their strong bonds.
Starting with the 2026-27 season, the new league 'B.LEAGUE PREMIER' will open on September 22, 2026. Carrying the history we have woven together with you, the Kings will stand on the special stage of the opening game of this new league.
Under our philosophy of 'Energizing Okinawa!', the Kings will continue to challenge for higher ground on this new stage, striving to be a source of pride for everyone who supports us.
