As part of the 'Ookinawa' initiative, Gordy visited several facilities and events in our hometown of Okinawa City and Kitanakagusuku Village during April. We would like to thank everyone who cooperated with these visits.

During these visits, Gordy interacted with children who were starting their new school year through events such as entrance ceremonies, spending a joyful time filled with smiles with the local community.

At the entrance ceremonies, Gordy performed dances with teachers and children in a warm atmosphere marking the start of a new school life. Even children who seemed a bit nervous naturally broke into smiles while taking photos with Gordy, enjoying the interaction.

At the 'Spring National Traffic Safety Departure Ceremony' held annually during this season, Gordy participated alongside Okinawa City's Eisa character 'Eibo' and FC Ryukyu's mascot 'Jinbenyo' to call for traffic safety among children and residents for the new fiscal year.

During the ball play session, guided by coaches from the Kings Basketball School, the activities began with the chant 'GO KINGS!'. Children enjoyed various movements using basketballs. The sight of children energetically chasing the ball was impressive.

At the 'Koinobori Hoisting Ceremony' held at Okinawa City Hall, Gordy joined in to wish for the healthy growth of children. The ceremony included hoisting koinobori (carp streamers) and dance performances by preschool children. At the end of the ceremony, koinobori gifts were handed out to the children, creating a warm and peaceful atmosphere.

The Okinawa Basketball Corporation Group remains committed to valuing interactions with local residents and continuing activities rooted in Okinawa.
