Notice of 2026-27 Season Kings Dancers Audition

We are pleased to announce the audition for the 2026-27 season Kings Dancers, who will liven up the Ryukyu Golden Kings together with our fans.
We are looking forward to applications from those who love dancing, cheering, bringing smiles to people's faces, and who want to energize Okinawa alongside the Kings!

Audition Overview

● Contract/Activity Period
・July 2026 to June 30, 2027
* This may change depending on the season's circumstances.

● Main Activities
・Cheering and performing at Ryukyu Golden Kings home games
・Appearances at events hosted by local communities, governments, and sponsors

● Compensation/Benefits
・Performance fees for games/events
・Loan of uniforms and related items
・Provision of team wear and team goods
・Transportation and care expenses provided (up to a limit)

● Eligibility
・Healthy individuals aged 18 and older (excluding high school students) who understand our team policies and concepts and can work with the Ryukyu Golden Kings
・Those with dance experience (any genre)
・Those who do not belong to other organizations that perform activities similar to our team
・Those who can participate in team activities if they pass the audition
1. Those who can preferentially attend 1-2 lessons per week (1 weekday night, 1 weekend)
2. Those who can participate in home games held from September to May (basically all dates, but negotiable)

Audition Schedule

Primary Screening: Web Screening
① Entry: Please fill in the required information in the "Application Form" below and submit it.
② Application Documents: Attach 2 photos (1 bust-up, 1 full-body) in the form.
* Photos must be unedited. Please refrain from using processing apps or submitting cut-out photos.
③ Application Video: Record a self-PR video of up to 1 minute and attach it to the form.
* Please include your name in the data name of both photos and videos before attaching them. Photos or videos without names will not be considered.

Friday, April 24 to Sunday, May 31 at 23:59

● Web Screening Result Notification
We will notify you of the screening results by email by Thursday, June 4, 2026.
* If you do not receive an email with the screening results after Thursday, June 4, please contact the audition person in charge by email.

Final Screening: Practical Skills Screening & Personal Interview

● Audition Date & Time / Location
・Date & Time: Sunday, June 14, 2026, 14:00-
・Location: Kitanakagusuku Village Central Public Hall (Main Hall)
・Required Documents: Please bring your resume on the day of the audition, clearly stating your facial photo, height, weight, shoe size, and dance history.
* Only those who pass the Web screening will participate in the final screening.

● Audition Content
① Basic techniques
② Choreography learning
③ Interview * The audition will end as soon as the interview is completed.

Requests when participating in the audition
・There is no changing room available. Please come in clothes that are easy to move in and show your body line as much as possible.
・Please bring your own dance shoes (for indoor use), towels, drinks, etc.
・Please arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start of the audition.

・Please understand in advance that we cannot respond to individual inquiries regarding pass/fail results.
・Please refrain from taking photos by individuals during the audition and posting them on social media.

・Please note that we will not be responsible for any injuries incurred during the audition.
・Please manage your valuables on the day of the audition yourself.
