San-in Godo Bank (Gogin) will celebrate its 150th anniversary on December 1, 2028, and has begun commemorative projects to mark this milestone.

First Initiative: 'Gogin Umbrella Share' Launched a free umbrella rental project in Omori-cho, Oda City, Shimane Prefecture, home to the Iwami Ginzan World Heritage site. Available to tourists and locals. - Locations: 17 spots including the Iwami Ginzan World Heritage Center and Ryugenji Mabu. - Quantity: Approximately 250 umbrellas.

New Catchphrase: '& GOGIN: Transforming 150 Years of History into Strength, Moving Beyond the Challenge.'

Omori-cho was selected due to its blend of history and daily life, aligning with the project's vision. The project launched on June 11, 2026.
