GODIVA Bake y GODIPAN to Open at Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu on May 20, 2026

GODIVA Japan Inc. announced that it will open “GODIVA Bake y GODIPAN Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu” in Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo, on May 20, 2026. GODIPAN is a bakery brand built around the concept of “a neighborhood bakery meets GODIVA,” offering a more familiar way to enjoy GODIVA in everyday life. Through bread, the brand highlights the appeal of chocolate and cacao. Its first store worldwide, “GODIVA Bake y GODIPAN Main Store,” opened in Yurakucho, Tokyo, in August 2023 and drew strong attention, with more than 200 customers lining up at launch. The new Toyosu store will open in an area that is easily accessible from central Tokyo and has continued to develop as a comfortable residential district for families. The shop features an open, high-ceilinged space and brick walls inspired by Belgium, the birthplace of GODIVA. Its design combines GODIVA’s European essence with the familiarity of a Japanese neighborhood bakery. The store includes a bakery kitchen and a low-temperature chocolate kitchen, allowing it to offer freshly baked items as well as products finished with chocolate and cream made in-store. Exclusive items at the Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu store include the “Bear Cornet (Milk Chocolate),” a cute bear-themed cornet. Other limited items developed with children’s ease of holding and eating in mind include “Soft Milk Cream,” “Share Stick (Caramel),” and “Hokkaido Potato Croquette Sandwich,” for a total of four exclusive products. The store will also carry popular GODIPAN items such as chocolate cornets, cream buns, and curry bread, along with “GODIPAN au Chocolat,” a new product launching across all GODIPAN stores to commemorate the Toyosu opening. Around 20 items will be available in total. GODIVA says the bakery will showcase the possibilities and originality of chocolate and cacao that only a chocolatier can express, backed by the quality the brand has cultivated in Japan for more than 50 years since 1972. The Toyosu-exclusive lineup includes Bear Cornet (Milk Chocolate), Soft Milk Cream, Share Stick (Caramel), and Hokkaido Potato Croquette Sandwich. Recommended items include GODIPAN au Chocolat, Cornet Chocolat, Cornet Strawberry, Cacao Fruit Cream Bun, Belgian Chocolate Cream Bun, Chocolatier’s Curry Bread, An Deux Chocolat, two types of fresh-texture doughnuts, Chocolat Stick, Chocolat Fruit, More Chocolat Fruit, Soft Chocolate Cake, Cacao Cake, and Cacao Ring Cake. Prices start at 280 yen, and a LaLaport Toyosu limited eco bag will be sold for 1,404 yen. The store is located at 2-4-9 Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo, and will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., following LaLaport Toyosu’s business schedule, with no regular closing days.
