As part of its community contribution activities, Seahorses Mikawa, in collaboration with Japan Post Co., Ltd. Tokai Branch, held a "Donation Ceremony for Eco Rulers and Clear Files to New First-Grade Elementary Students" at Kariya City Hall on Tuesday, March 24, Reiwa 8 (2026).

This initiative involves donating eco-friendly rulers and clear files, everyday stationery items, to new first-grade students entering elementary schools in Kariya City in the Reiwa 8 (2026) academic year. The aim is to help children become familiar with sports through school supplies, fostering a sense of attachment to the community and a desire to support Seahorses Mikawa.

The donation ceremony was held in the Superintendent of Education's office on the 7th floor of Kariya City Hall. Attendees included the Kariya City Superintendent of Education, Mr. Yoshisuke Kurita, Area General Manager of Japan Post Co., Ltd. Tokai Branch Aichi Nishi-Mikawa District Liaison Council, Mr. Kenichi Shimizu, Kariya Post Office Manager, and Mr. Yasuhiro Terabe, Representative Director and President of Seahorses Mikawa Co., Ltd., among other stakeholders.

On the day of the event, eco-friendly rulers and clear files were presented to the Kariya City Superintendent of Education, and a shared vision for the healthy growth of children and community revitalization through sports was expressed.

Seahorses Mikawa will continue to collaborate with local communities to engage in activities that contribute to the future of children and society.

"Be With" Seahorses Mikawa Sustainability Project

Connecting passes from the court to the town, and to the future.

Seahorses Mikawa launched an SDGs project named "Be With" from the 2022-23 season. To contribute to the achievement of the universally shared goals of "SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)," we will promote various initiatives in addition to our ongoing social contribution activities.
