GMO Internet Group's GMO Click Securities, Inc. (Note 1) (President and CEO: Hideyuki Takashima, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has achieved the No. 1 market share in domestic over-the-counter (OTC) CFD trading volume for the 12th consecutive year (Note 2).

(Note 1) GMO Click Securities, Inc. is a consolidated subsidiary of GMO Financial Holdings, Inc.

(Note 2) Based on statistics from the Japan Securities Dealers Association and the Japan Commodity Futures Association, researched by the Company (January 2014 - December 2025). The scope of aggregation includes individual stocks, stock price indices, bonds, and other securities for OTC stock CFDs, and energy, precious metals, and agricultural products for OTC commodity CFDs.

Since launching Japan's first (Note 3) CFD trading service utilizing its proprietary development system in April 2010, the Company has strived to enhance customer convenience by expanding the range of tradable products, improving the functionality and usability of its trading tools, and offering support for small-lot trading and reducing trading costs.

In 2025, against the backdrop of escalating US-China trade friction triggered by US tariff policies in April and concerns about a global economic slowdown, stock market volatility significantly increased. The Company saw active trading, particularly in stock index CFD products. Furthermore, as economic uncertainty grew, the price of gold, known as a "safe-haven asset," rose, leading to a substantial increase in trading of "Gold Spot." Additionally, from October of the same year, commodity markets such as gold and silver became very active, driving significant growth in commodity CFD trading, resulting in the Company's annual trading volume reaching a record high.

As a result, for the fiscal year 2025, the Company's domestic CFD trading volume share was 61.6% for OTC stock CFDs and 56.4% for OTC commodity CFDs, marking the 12th consecutive year of achieving the No. 1 share. We sincerely thank our customers for their continued support of our CFD trading services.

(Note 3) As of April 19, 2010, researched by the Company.

CFDs (Contract for Difference) are financial products that allow investment in a wide range of assets such as currencies, stocks, stock price indices, and commodities like crude oil and gold. The popular "FX" is also a type of CFD, specifically referring to CFDs whose underlying asset is currency. CFDs enable leveraged trading by depositing "margin" as collateral, allowing individuals to start trading with a small amount of capital without needing the full trading amount.
