Professional Experts Visit Universities: Nationwide Free Consultation for International Students

### Launch of On-site Free Consultations
General Incorporated Association Global Meeting (Secretariat: Tokyo) will begin offering on-site free consultations for international students enrolled in Japanese universities and graduate schools starting April 1, 2026, as part of its 'Employment and Retention Support Project for International Students in Japan.'

### From Online to In-Person: Expanding Support
While we have primarily provided consultations online, we have decided to launch on-site visits to universities in response to the growing demand for face-to-face interaction. This aims to build a more accessible and familiar support system.

### University Visit-based Support by Professionals
In this initiative, experts with knowledge gained from public support projects (such as immigration support centers), including certified administrative procedures legal specialists and labor and social security attorneys, will visit universities to conduct free consultations. We will provide flexible, practical support tailored to the specific needs of each university and its students.

### A Nationwide Network of 200 Experts
Global Meeting boasts a network of approximately 200 consultation advisors (170 administrative specialists and 30 labor attorneys) across Japan. By leveraging this network, we will provide detailed, face-to-face support and ensure high-quality assistance by assigning the best experts to each university.

### Practical Support for Employment and Residency
The on-site consultations aim to help international students deepen their understanding of Japan's unique residency status system and job-hunting processes. We provide practical support, including resolving concerns about visa changes, work eligibility, and advice on company selection.

### Organization Overview
Global Meeting is an organization composed of administrative specialists and labor attorneys dedicated to supporting the employment and retention of highly skilled foreign talent. We believe that collaboration between administrative specialists (who handle visa procedures) and labor attorneys (who handle HR and labor issues) is crucial. Established in 2020, we provide consistent support from recruitment to retention across universities, companies, and local governments.
