Global Brain Invests in Pan for You Co., Ltd., a Company Addressing Bakery DX with Proprietary Freezing Technology and Generative AI Solutions

Global Brain Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Global Brain) is pleased to announce that it has invested in Pan for You Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture / hereinafter, Pan for You), a company addressing bakery DX with its proprietary freezing technology and generative AI solutions, through the "Shinhan-GB Future Flow Investment Limited Partnership" (hereinafter, SHGB), jointly operated with Shinhan Venture Investment Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter, Shinhan Venture Investment).

Pan for You operates a platform business that procures a wide variety of specialty breads from carefully selected local bakeries and distributes them nationwide using its proprietary freezing technology. With over 200 partner bakeries and a rich lineup of over 400 types (as of the end of March 2026), the company offers subscription service 'Pansuku' and an online store for one-time purchases for B2C customers, and for B2B customers, it provides corporate wholesale, OEM bread sales, and welfare services.

Due to the recent rise in rice prices, the domestic bread market has expanded to a retail scale of 3.3 trillion yen*1. In addition, the frozen bread market is seeing increasing demand year by year, driven by improvements in freezing technology and labor shortages*2. Particularly, par-baked frozen bread is being actively adopted in various channels, including hotels and the restaurant industry.

In response to these market trends, Pan for You will further strengthen its products by utilizing generative AI. Furthermore, to address the severe labor shortages, especially in rural areas, the company plans to provide solutions for operational efficiency using frozen bread at real store sales sites.

Global Brain highly evaluated Pan for You's achievements in the frozen bread industry and the potential for providing solutions in real stores, which it will focus on in the future, and decided to make this investment. Through this investment, Global Brain will actively support the further growth of Pan for You's bakery DX platform business.
