GLOBAL PRODUCE Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Masaki Mitsuhata; hereinafter 'GLOBAL PRODUCE'), which operates an event production business, launched 'GP Lab' in April 2026, an internal cross-functional organization aimed at researching and practicing AI utilization in the business event domain.
While the integration of events and AI is entering the practical application phase overseas, AI utilization in Japan's event industry is still in the exploratory stage. As an event production company, we will proactively tackle AI integration ahead of the industry, creating next-generation business events that incorporate AI across the three layers of 'Planning, Space, and Experience.'

■ Background of the Launch: 'Event x AI' Enters Practical Application Phase Overseas
In our '2025 Summary and 2026 Outlook' announced in December 2025, we reported that AI utilization in the overseas event industry is already entering the practical application phase.
[Overseas Case 1] Planning and Program Design Domain
On the event platform 'Bizzabo,' AI recommends optimal sessions and networking partners based on participant attributes and behavioral data. 'Judy AI,' provided by Singapore's 'Jublia,' performs sentiment analysis and reporting on participant feedback, creating a cycle to improve event quality.
[Overseas Case 2] Space and Stage Expression Domain (Physical AI)
At the 'Jeju AI International Film Festival 2025' held in Jeju Island, South Korea, AI announcer 'J-NA' co-hosted with a human announcer. At 'SIGGRAPH 2024,' AI avatar 'Sophie' from digital human company UneeQ took the stage, conducting a session where she answered audience questions in real-time using generative AI.
[Overseas Case 3] Attendee Experience and Data Utilization Domain
vFairs' 'AI Event Assistant' operates as an event-specific chatbot that answers participant questions in real-time. Jublia's 'Judy AI' functions as a 24-hour chat concierge, realizing business matching and session recommendations based on behavioral data.

■ Current Status and Challenges of Japan's Event Industry
On the other hand, AI utilization in Japan's event industry is still in the exploratory stage. As we produce about 200 business events annually, we perceive the following challenges:
- There are few cases where AI is practically utilized in event planning and production sites.
- Knowledge regarding 'what AI can do' is not shared within the industry.
- There is a lack of know-how to apply advanced overseas cases to Japanese business events.
Against this backdrop, we have decided to lead the industry as an event production company by fully committing to the research and practice of AI utilization.

■ Overview of 'GP Lab'
Organization Name: GP Lab
Launch Date: April 2026
Purpose: Research and practice of AI utilization in the business event domain

■ Main Initiatives and Projects
[Initiative 1] Regular Holding of Internal AI Study Sessions and Research Meetings
We will regularly hold study sessions on AI utilization for event producers and creative directors. We promote the acquisition of skills directly linked to practical work, such as planning, video production, and content production using generative AI. Additionally, this initiative is supported by Autobahn Inc., a company that has conducted numerous generative AI training programs.
[Initiative 2] GP EARTH | Construction of an AI Platform Specialized for Event Production Work
GP EARTH is a specialized AI platform that makes it possible to utilize our information assets—knowledge, proposals, estimates, production schedules, etc., accumulated through producing approximately 200 events a year—using AI. It aims to achieve business transformation across the four axes of 'Speed x Quality x Revenue x Reproducibility.' Currently, P
